The music video was shot on a TTfone TT240 on a rooftop off Judd Street in Kings Cross, London. The hazy visuals, elevated location and victorian architectural backdrop match the lo-fi vocals, nostalgic lyrical themes and the transcendent simplicity of the production
'Karma'
'Karma' was recorded in late 2023 in a university dorm room. A collaboration with the elusive Youtube producer Sauron (@sauronreborn), the track mainly explores addiction, identity and aspiration
The track was mixed and mastered by Viv, he also directed the music video but performance shots were handled by long time collaborator Diz Establishment (@dizestablishment)
The rhythmic adlibs following the second verse and the deadpan delivery demonstrate a vocal prowess beyond lyrics and an intuition for worldbuilding within sonic structures

The feature verse builds upon the themes of disenfranchisement explored in the first, with the fantastical flair of the chorus:

I peak a lot

Recorded in 2024 at Roundhouse Studios, Camden. "MDFO" is the best performing song on the album 'Controversy as a Means of Influence' and Diz's 2nd most streamed song on Spotify ever
